Welcome to the Heyworth Swarm 
It’s a pleasure to welcome you to the Heyworth Swarm Travel program.  We’re committed to making this experience as fun and meaningful as possible for you and your child.  The following is designed to help you  understand what being a member of the this team is all about. 

A COMMITMENT TO TEACHING
Sure we want to win, but by teaching the fundamentals of the game, our players will not only develop the ability to play baseball/softball properly but at a higher level, with a foundation that will serve them throughout their athletic career.  Practices will be structured and focused, with clear objectives.  Player and team success begins on the practice field.  As the old saying goes, “You win your trophies at practice.  You just pick up the hardware at the tournaments.”

THE TEAM CONCEPT
Building and maintaining a successful organization is a difficult task made easier when everyone realizes that they are important and integral part to the team.  We support one another by building each other’s confidence. (“Way to go!” “Good job!” etc.) and having each other’s back in the game and in practice.

OUR PROMISE 
There’s no promise a player will get a certain amount of playing time, that they will play a certain position or that they will bat at a certain part of the batting order.  However, we do promise to work with and challenge all players equally, regardless of ability or on-the-field production. 

THE BOTTOM LINE
It’s a pleasure and an honor to be allowed to work with your ball player, and is a responsibility that is taken very seriously.  We will work diligently to bring the very best out of her, and keep things fun.  If this sounds like a commitment you’re willing to take, we would love to have you be a part of the Heyworth Swarm Travel Program!
